If we encounter holes in the information you provided or have additional questions, a member of our team will reach out to schedule a meeting. However, please don’t worry if you don’t hear from us - that simply means we have all the information we need.

  • Our goal is to keep this as simple as possible (looking at you, typical grant application process). However, we will need some basics, including but not limited to: EIN, 501c3 Status, Website, Vision/Mission/Values, Number of staff, Case study demonstration potential of your idea, List of platforms used for marketing, Examples of past successful marketing (socials, e-newsletters, press releases, etc), and a great attitude.

  • We are accepting applications from nonprofits with an annual operating budget of under $3MM USD ($3,000,000 USD).

  • Chin up! We’ll retain all applications and keep them for consideration in the next round (you’ll be notified to re-apply). However, we also offer a flexible payment model for non-profits with big ideas and limited resources. Even if you don’t become a grantee, we still might be able to help you in a limited capacity!

  • We’d still love to hear about it! We’re here to make the world a little better. If we can help you do that, even if the Unless Project isn’t the right fit, perhaps we can help!

  • Yes! ALBC is a global company currently supporting initiatives and organizations across several continents. However, our Unless Project is specifically designed to help tackle some of the biggest issues facing Americans. And, as members of The Greatest Country In The World™, there’s no shortage of opportunities to make a difference here at home…

  • It is not. While there’s a small cash stipend ($2500) to minimize any unplanned out-of-pocket expenses, the vast majority of value is provided in services and resources, including any hard costs associated with executing our strategy.

Our for-profit partners typically invest $150,000+ for these services, hence the valuation of the grant. Moreover, we’ve heard and seen too many examples of “chunk-o-cash” grants that end up failing because they don’t come with adequate support, direction, and resources.

  • From the homepage of our website:

When we think of environmental sustainability, we think of sustainable farming, shifting to renewable energy sources, and passive/net-zero building solutions, as well as the removal of harmful plastics and waste products from our environment.

When we think about human health and wellness, we think of ways we could improve personalized healthcare, proactive healthcare, and mental health destigmatization and support.

When we think about social progress and advocacy, we think of ways we could build a less polarized, better educated, unconditionally equal, safer, and wholly empathetic society.

When we think about artistic activism, we think about the explosive documentaries, guerilla installations, unforgettable performances, and stunning imagery that has defined generations.

  • Sure thing.

    1. Let’s say you’re running a small, non-profit, and your model is working, you’re making a difference, people are pleased with your work, but your public-facing presence doesn’t properly reflect the quality or impact of the work you’re doing. As a result, you’re having trouble breaking into new audiences, increasing funding, and scaling your solution to a larger landscape.

    2. Let’s say you’ve come up with a new, novel solution that you’ve tested, know works, and could be scalable, but due to the complexity of the issue you’re solving, you really struggle to explain/sell your solution in a successful way. As a result, you’re feeling stuck trying to get funding, your audiences don’t seem to understand your value proposition, and your solution isn’t taking off.

  • Well, I believe you just answered your own question. But we strongly recommend you get outside, enjoy nature, make things for the joy of making them - not for profit or fame. You do you!

  • Do you see how cool this website is? Did you watch the teaser video? Do you think we’d put in all this time an effort if we didn’t mean it?
